Some of you have had to wait for your accounts to be activated.

In an effort to control the spammers (porn and otherwise) and keeping the chronic trouble-makers from automatically registering and posting, I have the register control set to where I must be the one to manually activate you. You will get a notice that you have registered, but this does not mean you are "activated."

I will not activate any account unless the person provides to me in a separate e-mail their full name, city/state, a personal reference, and a verifiable phone number. The most important piece of information I need in the e-mail is your login or user I.D. name. I can't look you up to activate you without it. Once your account is activated, update your profile to reflect your real name as in my instruction to current board members below:

I encourage the rest of you to update your profiles by putting your real name in the "interest/hobbies" section. This in no way will compromise any security issues, and it will enable all of us to see with whom we are dealing. If you cannot figure out how to update your profile, e-mail me with your current user name and your real name, and we will do it for you. If new "approved" users neglect to update their profiles, it will be done for them.

Once they get in and see what a nice job you do here, the ywill realize it was worth the wait to become a member and will forgive you for any delay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
