Who do you want to see judge?

I am pulling for Jeff O'Connell to judge the little male class. He has put in a lot of miles up and down the hills of Morgantown marshalling for others now its time to give him the book and pencil.

Vote for BIG CITY!!!!!

Dude, your the man. Rick a recommendation from a guy like you means a lot. It's crazy that people actually want that job, but you won't find anybody that wants that front seat more then me. Best seat in the house. Thanks guys I'll probably see ya at the meeting.

Jeff would be an excelent choice.

I would like to be considered for the big females or big males, for the all age event.

Thanks

I had the honor of running in a licensed trial under HOF'ers Cliff Rankin and Jimmy Hagan. What a treat the 3rd place on FC Riveredge Rockin Rebel under these two was that day. I had them sign my trial card. Still have it. Maybe the last time I ever get that chance again.

Im with Mike! The HOF'er judged FC only trial should be something special to anyboby attending also. Mike you need to come on down and join us.

It's great to see such interest---and very good judges' names on this post ! Please help to ensure that your club is sending a delegate to the Annual Business Meeting in a few weeks---and that you have a judge's application form, signed by your choice of judge, to turn in. It would be wonderful to have a large judging pool from which the delegates can choose to vote for. Best of luck to those that would like to judge at the Run-offs--------fred

Jeff O'Connell for sure. Talk about a dependable straight shooter. Very honest and for those of you that know him you'll get what i mean when i say "he might tell ya more then ya wanna hear. lol" but he always has an honest explanation. I've seen multiple times Jeff has stepped up to judge for clubs that have judges cancel on short notice (Like the night before or morning of Smile ) He'll drive 100's of miles just to judge because he's devoted. He doesnt judge for buddies or for the name and recognition...he judges for the betterment of the breed and for the love of the sport. This is the type of guy you get to judge run-offs. Best of luck to ya buddy.

I personaly think we need to get some of the older judges with a young judge.Danny Bright and Wayne Thompson would be an excellent choice .and many others that have been in this for yrs.

i would recommend Ronnie Smith and Cliff Cooper from Virginia, these guys both have seen lots and lots of dogs, both handling, trialing, and judging. Both of them know what it takes to compete at a national level and both of them put as much time into what they do as probably anybody you will see at a trial.

I'd like to see Dan Tibbits as a judge at the all age. I like to see Tim Kasmarzik at the AKC on lil females. A lot of good qualified judges available, no need to hire guys that haven't even put in 10 trials at a national event. I'm sorry but its kind of a slap on the face to a lot of hard working judges. Sorry if that offends anyone.

I'm looking for GOOD and HONEST and HARDWORKING, not how many trials they judged. Just because you've judged 10 trials doesn't mean you know what your doing. There are many that have judged 50 or more that I wouldn't run under if they were in my yard. I don't feel like driving 7 hours to run under a guy who gets voted in because he is a nice guy or because he has judged so many trials. Unfortunatley the run-offs shouldn't be about boosting a judges ego or giving them something to brag about, it should be about the people entering their hounds. Hope I didn't offend anyone.

Weird I actually thought it was supposed to be about the dogs, not who was holding there lead. That explains a lot. Your right how dare a judge think of judging the nationals as an accomplishment, they all ready get more then enough credit, and appreciation for what they do.

As long as they are honest I could care less whos holding the pencil. And congrats to whoever gets it because its an honor.

maybe to slow for some and to fast for others but......

Tim Wistow
is a guy i would like to see judge this trial he is a good honest judge you are not going to find a guy who works harder at this sport we all love!!! he has judged hounds on the us and in canada for 30 plus years!

to think that a guy judgeing less than 50 classes and judgeing the nat runoff is crazy but if anybody thinks that a guy should be able to judge before he does his 10 classes that is just plan stupid!!!

I would also like to get a chance to run under, or even judge with a guy like Bill Emerson. Heck id even Marshall for him and Dan again if they got in. Also wouldn't mind judging with Dude, he seems like he knows what he's about. Mike Reynolds is another who brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, if he offering to do the job he's got my vote. Lookin forward to being at the meeting this year to get to be a part of this big shindig. hope I can get the time off.

Would love to Judge with Ray Blevins (for the Nationals) or any field trial event for that matter. That guy is an AWESOME judge!

He an Kymon Farmer (also from Georgia) were an excellent pair of Judges. Hard to beat them.
