Pedigrees that need deleting - Post them here.

I FIGURED OUT HOW TO DELETE PEDIGREES!!!

All pedigrees will have a number assigned to them. When you are looking at the pedigree you need deleted because of errors, look up in the address bar and you will see it just before the ".htm"

For example:

http://espomagazine.com/pedigrees/4707.htm

This pedigree is number 4707. So, if you can give me a list of pedigree numbers you know need to be deleted, or if you run across some garbage, write those down, too. If you wish, we can use this thread for now to keep them all in one place, then I will get to them as I can. My e-mail inbox gets flooded with stuff as it is, so please post them here.

David and John, your lists have been deleted.

Just a thought, the way this works is...there is a folder within the website that contains all pedigrees. I FTP a copy of that folder to my hard drive, open the folder and delete the unwanted pedigrees, then send the folder back up to the site, telling it to overwrite what's there (the folder that still contains the unwanted ones). If someone should be creating a new pedigree at the very moment I'm in the process of deleting pedigrees, their new work will be lost in the overwrite as I send the amended pedigree folder back up to the web. I will try next time to announce plenty ahead of time when I will be updating the pedigree database.

And Dan - those were not my mistakes - those were the mistakes made by some other people on the board that was band from using the Q&A board, so they just posted crap on the pedigree creator bashing other people and Bev.

Bev- Super good show!!! The ped file was getting full of garbage. Why some clown would intentially junk up a good thing is beyond my comprehension. Looks like some of the members have been hard at work helping identify those peds that need to "go south".
Let me add my appreciation for the service that you extend to Beaglers.

I admit to ignorance about computer stuff so tell me where do I find the numbers so I can tell you which ones I need deleted. I pulled up the pedigrees and didn't see any numbers and didn't see them in the window showing where I was on the computer. I need these taken off
